Banana recipe out of lemon juice will it still work?

i am out of lemon juice and my recipe uses fresh banana will it still turn out?if not anyone have a recipe for frosted banana bars without eggs or lemon juice?Banana recipe out of lemon juice will it still work?
You can substitute orange or lime juice - it is there to keep the banana from browning and looking unappetizing. As for the eggs;

ONE (1) egg equals any one of the following:

2 Tbs. flour

陆 tsp. oil

陆 tsp. baking powder

2 Tbs. liquid

2 Tbs. water

1 Tbs. oil

陆 tsp. baking powder

1 Tbs. flaxseed* (ground in coffee mill)

3 Tbs. warm water

1 Tbs. gelatin or fruit pectin

3 Tbs. warm water

Hope this helps!Banana recipe out of lemon juice will it still work?
the lemon juice is only to keep the bananas from turning brown. I doubt it has much to do with the taste of the recipe. The eggs are vital, I would think.
From a chef....use the orange juice if you can...it does affect the taste a bit....not enough to effect the recipe but lime may be to strong. It will be ok but you do need the eggs. they coagulate to hold the bars together. that is important. Have a good day
